We are excited to announce that the latest release of OpenWISP is now available!

This release brings major improvements to maps, firmware management, device location data, more consistency, more REST API endpoints, and loads of bug fixes.

Highlights

Better geographic and indoor map experience

Improved the map experience with indoor maps, real-time mobile device tracking, and shareable URLs.

More flexible firmware upgrades

Added real-time progress updates, upgrade cancellation, and targeted mass upgrades by device group or location.

Richer device location data

Added WHOIS information and estimated geographic locations based on device IP addresses.
